Dear Reader is a set of online bookclubs offered to you by the public libraries of several cities including Berkeley, Oshkosh, Fairfield and Takoma Park. You will receive the first few chapters of a book by e-mail over the course of a week and if you like it you can look for the book here, in another library, or at local booksellers. This is a great way to sample the works of many different authors.

Our participation is funded by the
Friends of the Takoma Park Maryland Library who also sponsor a live, in person, book club for you. Just drop in. The time, date, and current book are usually listed on the
book blog.
You can also
