Bring your family to a picnic Sept. 25, 11 a.m. -3 p.m. , hosted by the PSCAC at VFW Post 350, at 6420 Orchard.
The menu of burgers, hotdogs and vegetarian fare will be accompanied by information on public safety and how you can be involved.
At the picnic you can register as a Neighborhood Safety Contact, the go-between for your neighbors, the police and other city officials in matters of public safety and emergency preparedness.
