Preliminary Public Safety Recommendations
As with any undertaking of this magnitude, this document would not be possible without the contributions of many dedicated people. Two groups of individuals worked many hours to provide the insightful opinions about Public Safety that helped to build this document. These two groups combined with the Public Safety Citizens Advisory Committee to gather the information:
The members of the City's Community Advisory Committee; and
The many residents, business owners and property owners of the City of Takoma Park.
The facilitating skills of Mary Kay LeFevour, President of Creative Dynamics, were essential in running the many public sessions that provided the information contained herein.
Many City employees provided advice, counseling and information that were invaluable in preparing these recommendations.
